How To Become a Member of HCBC

You can become a member of Horse Cave Baptist Church in one of three ways:

(1) By Baptism.

1a. Baptism After Profession of Faith.  After hearing the gospel, if you will receive Jesus Christ as your personal Savior and Lord and follow Him in baptism by immersion, we welcome you into our fellowship.

1b. Baptism Upon Joining From Another Denomination.  If you are a member of another Christian denomination and you desire to become a member of our church, we invite you to join by baptism. This gives testimony of your salvation and your obedience to Christ's example in baptism.

(2) By Letter. If you are a member in good standing of another Baptist church, and you feel God is leading you to join our fellowship, we will gladly take care of the appropriate details for transferring your membership.

(3) By Statement. In the event that church membership records are not available for a transfer of membership, or if you were once a Baptist church member but are presently a member of another denomination, we will receive you upon your statement of these conditions.
